The Dunham Family announced yesterday the passing of Port. Port was known to us all as the "Three Legged Dog" whose label graced the famous red wine blend. The Dunham Cellars label made many a dog lover smile and the story of his rescue by winemaker Eric Dunham touched our hearts. Thank you Eric for giving Port a long and very good life. What sad news. I always get a kick out of seeing that dog when I'm perusing the wine aisle at Super One.
I agree it is sad. Port was one of the reasons we tried Dunham Wine the first time.
